Robert (Bob) Fisher has been in the Alarm Industry over 40 years serving the residents of Southern California.  Over the years he realized the lack of “Alarm Screen” knowledge and decided to make that his main focus so AWest Alarm Screens was formed.

Many people think measuring for an alarm screen is pretty simple but there is much more to it than just taking the tape measure out and measuring width and height.  You’ve got to know what size frame to use… where is the lead wire coming in from the wall….  Where does the tamper go….  Is it going to be a slotted plug or 2 prong plug…  spline in or spline out… flat spring clips and/or push pins…. and last but not least….  Frame color.  These are all critical points of detail needed when taking measurements for alarm screens.  And they need to be addressed correctly by a professional to be able to build the proper alarm screen.

AWest not only fabricates alarm screens, to your specifications, but we also offer a complete turnkey solution for Southern California dealers from start to finish, for which you will find in the DEALER section of this website.

A good portion of our business is Southern California driven, where the alarm dealer places an order for alarm screens with us and when completed comes in to pick up their screen order. We do however, ship all over the country so once you’ve submitted your screen order, we will then pack up and ship your screens.

Now, with the latest wireless technology, AWest is able to offer an alarm screen without any plug to connect.  This eliminates the labor to run wires connecting the alarm screen to the circuit lead wire. With our patented “WIRELESS” alarm screen the transmitter is embedded in the frame of the screen.  No more drilling, no more mess to clean up.

If you are not familiar with how to measure and set up an alarm screen AWest is here to help; we will guide you through the process. Don’t forget to ask us about our new “wireless” alarm screen.
